How can I help?
Meals on Wheels receives funding from the Department of Social Services and this funding covers rent, wages and superannuation. The Government Funding does not cover meal containers, freight, utility expenses, administration costs, general repairs and maintenance and Insurance. Meals are purchased from our suppliers and sold to our clients on a Not For Profit basis.
2015 brings us a new direction, we are now a registered Charity and are able to receive donations and fundraise.This year our campaign's goal is to raise $10,500.00 which is $1.00 for every meal sold.
Any contribution you can make towards helping us achieve this goal would be gratefully appreciated, local support will ensure the success of our future.
